Another hot tub accessory that requires a lot of care if used around water is a CD player or a radio. These can be placed far enough away from the hot tub to decrease the risk of electrocution. Both the CD player and the radio can help to create a relaxing or fun atmosphere, depending on what you listen to.
Purchasing a hot tub accessory gift for a friend or relative can be fun. You can choose anything from filters to floating games, all of which will increase the enjoyment that the hot tub gives. For an outdoor hot tub owner the gift of a towel warmer can make their day, especially during the winter or on cool spring or autumn days.
Plastic playing cards can keep the game going wild in the water. These are great hot tub accessories because they allow you to keep conversation flowing and they can help you and your guests have fun. Small windup toys can be fun for younger hot tub users and this is the type of accessory that brings in laughter and enjoyment but gives very little otherwise. A more serious hot tub accessory could be a hot tub cover or a hot tub cover lifter.
During colder seasons rodents are occasionally a problem because the hot tub supplies warmth. One of the more useful accessories for your hot tub is a mixture of essential oils used to keep out rodents and other pests, and which are safe to humans and domestic animals. As soon as rodents detect the scent of essential oils they leave.
